solaris hourの音楽はトランシーで柔らかく、無意味である。
朝日や夕日の空の色を表現している。
ハードアンビエントなトラックに、
シャーマニックな歌声に定評のあるY-coが踊る様にして歌う。

20世紀の音楽が21世紀の音楽にシフトする現場を目撃し、体験する中で、
型ではないフリースタイルを身に付けた彼の音楽は、とても力強く、優しい。
楽器の振動、コンピューターの精度、人間のゆらぎ・・・そういったものが
一体となって彼の音楽を豊かにしている。深く、鋭く、おおらかな音楽。
年を重ねても日々成長し、子供のような笑顔で演奏する彼の存在は、
時代の中で常に必要とされるものである。

-Career-
 1980年から1998年迄ニューヨークに滞在。
ベーシスト、ギタリストとしてラメルジー（映画ワイルド・スタイル参加ラッパー）を
フィーチャーしたノーウェーヴバンド「Death Comet Crew」
（デス・コメット・クルー以下DCC)他数多くのプロジェクトに参加、
また映画サントラ制作等の活動を行う。

90年代にはミックス・マスター・モリス、ハーバート他を招いての
マルチメディアイベント 『ネオテリック』（足利、新潟、タイ）に
オルガナイザー、DJ／Liveとして参加。
99年、グリーン・ベルベット、DBX等参加のレイブ（インディアナ、米）にて
ドラムンベースのライブセットにてヘッドラインを務める。

03年、20年ぶりに再結成したDCCのライブをニューヨーク、ニッテイング・ファクトリーで
行い好評を得る。 同年ラメルジーとDJ Kenseiのプロジェクトに参加。
 05年、代官山ユニットにてDCC初の来日ライブを行う。
オープニングアクトはプラスチック・セックス（中西俊夫、野宮真貴他）。
 06年、フランスのアミエンにて開催された音楽イベント『ヌイブランシャ』にて
DCCのライブを行う。 現在は、テクノ系のプロジェクト「DCC URI」、
ダブ系ユニットの「Uri Duble Nation」名義での活動とtaisouegao(color-Music)との
テクノポップユニット「Nicopop」の活動を行っている。
